This was just possibly the most beautiful thing we saw all day... I had to throw it in!
If you look you can see some vine things hanging from the trees...we couldn't really figure out exactly what they were...(sorry about the order of these pics, I couldn't figure out how to re-arrange them..I have much to learn in the blogging world.)
At the end of the "hike"...or really just a nice walk with a few minor elevations here and there we found this...the Mississippi! There was sand right off of it, it was just like a beach..kind of crazy!
We were very excited when we figured out the vines were stable enought that we could swing on them! This is just one of the ones that we found.
Jason....trying to look manly

I was excited to see some red on the trees..with a little bit of yellow
All in all..not too bad. I can't say it's as pretty as Logan canyon, but definitely better than just turning brown, dying, and falling off.

Where is this drive/hike you went on? It looks pretty and the vine swinging looks awesome! :) My mom is coming in town soon and I want to take her somewhere like this!
Looks like you guys had a great time! I am slightly disappointed about the lack of fall colors here but it seems like you found some pretty trees.
Oh my goodness gas is cheap there! I was excited today because gas was $2.25, but now I am wishing for $1.89. Loved the hike pictures! Looks like you guys had fun. Glad for the update!
Christina...good work on posting. Do more! I miss you and cant wait to see you! Plan on December 28th. I am jealous of your gas prices.
fun!! Holy cow, gas prices?? NICE. so those shoes in your picture remind me of/college :) I can't wait to catch up in december!
Hi! Yes, I graduated in exercise science in spring of 2006. Is that what you studied?! I loved my major SO much! NOW I am filing payroll taxes! :) Hopefully one day I will use my major!
Hey I joined the crowd and created a blog. Thanks for letting me steal your title idea. It's at memphismoments.blogspot.com. I saw on Haylee's post that they went camping in shelby forest and liked it. We should probably decide soon.
Christina--I'm commenting on your comment about the U. So I think a lot of us are in the same situation. Megan is surrounded by BYU fans, you are surrounded by BYU fans and I live in Utah county so yes, I am surrounded by BYU fans. But after Saturday, they are a lot quiter than usual!! I'm excited to see you in Dec!! You better be there.
